The Crocodile Went to Bed
By David John Ingham, age 3, transcribed by Dad.
The Crocodile, he found a friend
And then he found another friend
And then he found his mummy and daddy
And then he ran away
And then he went to bed.
The Whale he found his Dinosaur friend
And then he went to bed.
Dave’s first proper poem, written down by me exactly as Dave dictated.So. Proud.

You know, it’s silly, but that’s actually pretty good.
I mean, pretty good for an *adult*.

Watch out all you Crunchers! We have someone with raw talent here! I’m going to have to get my kids to write poems now - what a lovely idea x

Can we have it in the original welsh (or at least the accent)? Perhaps a live performance at the kennington festival?
