Fly Poster Man #2
A long time ago, I wrote about the Fly Poster Man, whose paranoia led him to post diatribes about the council and such all over the area. He went quiet some time ago.
I walked past his house one day last week, and saw that the door was open. Builders were ferrying out rubble of all sorts. The place looked like it was being completely gutted. I wondered if he had finally been evicted, or perhaps if he had died.

He was evicted: a couple of weeks ago there was a notice on his door saying that if he didn’t remove his possessions within the statutory five days they would be disposed of. And last night I saw him chatting to someone on the street - they seemed concerned for him and I got the impression he is sleeping rough. Seeing his diatribes made me sympathetic for his landlord/lady, but leaving somebody homeless in November is not a nice thing to do.
